Pringle-Morse CISD
Gifted/Talented Program

Nominations are now being accepted by Pringle-Morse CISD for their gifted/talented program for grades 1-9. If you would like to nominate someone for consideration to the program please pick up a nomination form from the office and return it no later than November 15, 2020. Students may also nominate themselves for consideration for the program. Self-nomination forms may be picked up in the office and they must be returned by November 15, 2020.
Pringle-Morse CISD ahora está aceptando nominaciones para su programa de superdotados / talentosos. Si desea nominar a alguien para que lo considere en el programa, recoja un formulario de nominación de la oficina y devuélvalo antes del 15 de noviembre de 2020. Due the crazy weather last week we are having Red Ribbon Week Nov. 2-6:
Monday: School Spirit Day (Wear your Pringle-Morse shirt in honor of the Cougars first Basketball game. Wear a red or blue shirt if you do not have a cougar shirt)
Tuesday: Team Jerseys ("Team Up Against Drugs")
Wednesday: Pajama Day ("Follow your Dreams- Be Drug Free")
Thursday: Red Day ("Be Happy, Be Brave, Be Drug Free!")
Friday: Student Holiday (no school for students/staff development)
Well... we are predicted to get 5-7 inches of snow tonight but we are going to try to have school tomorrow! Pringle-Morse will have a 10:00 start time on Thursday, October 29. Buses will run accordingly. Breakfast will not be served. It is wear red day for Red Ribbon Week. We hope to see you back at school tomorrow!
The pumpkin contest has been extended until Nov. 4. Judging will happen after noon on Nov. 4.

We have a school holiday on Monday, October 12, in observance of Columbus day. Have a great long weekend!
Individual picture retakes, 8th grade Composite pictures, and Basketball pictures will be taken on Thursday, October 8, 2020.

Dear Pringle-Morse CISD Residents:
On behalf of the Pringle-Morse CISD, we would like to encourage those of you who have not registered to vote to take a few moments to do so. The District conducts school board elections, and a separate ballot to decide a Voter Approved Tax Rate will be in the upcoming November 3rd General election.
To register to vote in Texas, simply complete a voter registration application and return it to Linda Cummings, Voter Registrar, at least 30 days before the upcoming election date. To complete an application, you may:
- Complete an application using the SOS ONLINE VOTER REGISTRATION APPLICATION.
Simply fill in the required information, print, sign, and mail or hand deliver to:

You are eligible to register to vote if:
- You are a United States Citizen;
- You are a resident of the county where you submit the application;
- You are at least 17 years and 10 months old, and you are 18 years of age on Election Day;
- You are not a convicted felon (you may be eligible to vote if you have completed your sentence, probation, and parole); and
- You have not been declared by a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be either totally
mentally incapacitated or partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote.
