Exciting News!

Media Release for Seamless Summer Option Free Meals in School Year 2021-2022

PRINGLE-MORSE CISD announced its policy today that this school year, healthy meals will be offered every school day to all students at no cost. Typically, a student’s household must meet income eligibility requirements to qualify for free or reduced-price meals. However, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued guidance that allows schools to offer meals to all students at no cost for the 2021-2022 school year. Each school/site or central office has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed upon request.

While no application or eligibility determination process is required for your student to receive free meals this school year, the income eligibility requirement will likely resume in the 2022-2023 school year.

Dear Parents,

Graduation is just around the corner! On behalf of Pringle-Morse CISD, our hope is that this letter finds you and your family well. Thank you very much for your parental support this past year.  We plan to hold a traditional graduation on May 18th at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium.   Parents/family groups will have reserved seating areas in the auditorium.  Masks are not required for the occasion.

Please arrive at 6:15 p.m. for gift exchange.  Parents of graduating students will park ONE car parallel in front of the elementary building and open their trunk to receive gifts for their graduate.  We anticipate there will be twelve graduation vehicles, and a staff member will guide gift-car drivers to parking spots in the big parking lot to be in line for the parade. Feel free to decorate your trunk with your graduate’s name. You may provide a big gift box or tote in which to place the gifts in the trunk.  At 6:45 p.m. trunks will close, and graduates will get in line on the porch as guests find their seats in the auditorium.  Graduation will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.  Immediately following the ceremony, the students and pre-determined family members will get into their “gift” car and parade through Morse!

“Masks will no longer be required at the Pringle-Morse campus beginning Monday, April 19, 2021,” Superintendent Scott Burrow announced this morning. Pringle-Morse CISD Students, faculty, staff, and visitors will no longer be required to wear masks or face coverings to school; although, the choice remains optional. “The wearing of masks and face coverings remains a personal choice and will be permitted while all other practices, such as social distancing, will remain in effect, and we will respect their choice.” said Mr. Burrow. “I want to take a moment to commend all the members of the Pringle-Morse CISD family for their efforts over the 14 months to mitigate COVID-19.
