Letter to Community

October 23, 2023

Letter to the Community

It is that time of year again! Basketball season has started back up, and with that we will have many students playing a lot of games over the next few months. We would like to take some time to remind our supporters, parents, players, coaches, and staff of our proper etiquette at game time.

Please refrain from yelling/cursing/berating:

  • The players (ours, or the opposing team, remember these are kids you would be yelling at)

  • The coaches (ours, or the opposing team)

  • The clock/book keepers (ours, or the opposing team)

  • The Officials. (Remember Amarillo Chapter had to send out a letter last year)

All of the people listed above are human, and will make mistakes. Our job as a community is to support everyone involved in these games to make it an enjoyable experience for our kids/school. The last thing any of us want is to cause the kids to stop having fun when they are playing. If we do have any complaints of people acting in a manner unbecoming of our school, they will be asked to leave. Our fans support our teams no matter what, and that is part of what makes team sports such an important part of our kids' lives.

We are truly blessed to have one of the best supporting communities around, and we have not had any complaints that we are aware of. We are sending out this reminder to keep it that way.

Remember we all are in this for the kids, and we have a great group of kids to support.

Thank you for your support, and thank you for your cooperation.

Help us set the example the Pringle-Morse way.
