7th grade science has just finished studying Heredity, Genetics, and learning how to use a Punnett Square.  We have been learning the chance of a child having the same traits as his parents.  We just moved on to learning about the circulatory system, the different types of blood vessels in our body, and the lymphatic system.  We have learned that your circulatory system carries oxygen to your organs in your body using your blood cells, and that your blood cells also carry carbon dioxide out of your body like pipes carry water through your house.  We have also learned that arteries carry blood to your organs away from your heart, that veins carry blood back to your heart, and that capillaries connect the two types of vessels
